Want The Latest Winamp? Get It Now Before the Website Shuts Down Posted: 24 Nov 2013 02:05 AM PST In the days before iTunes, Winamp was one of the best-known names in computer music. It was the preferred MP3 player for millions of people, and there were even some built-in radio stations that were integrated with it too. It was so popular that AOL bought Winamp for some $80 million a few years ago, presumably with the intention of turning it into what iTunes eventually became. AOL has now abandoned its dreams. Winamp is no more. The web site is no longer accepting orders for Pro subscriptions. And in a couple of weeks' time, the official Winamp download sites will close. So if you still use Winamp and you want to ensure you have the latest version, head to the website and download it now, before it's too late. http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/want-latest-winamp-get-it-while-you-still-can.htm |

But if you also hanker for the days before computers and the internet, and occasionally like to lose yourself in an old classic movie, then here's a web site that might appeal. At this site you'll find loads of black and white movies that you can watch online and, in many cases, also download if you prefer. So fire up the PC, turn up the speakers, and think about what the world must have been like when the telephone and the refrigerator were about as high-tech as it got. http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/treat-if-you-love-old-movies.htm |
