New Free Adventure Game from Microsoft Just for Windows 8.1 Posted: 05 Jun 2014 01:29 AM PDT Gizmo's has several editors who are computer game experts but I am not one of them. I waste enough time on FreeCell and chess as it is. However, a new free game released by Microsoft for Windows 8.1 caught my eye. It's called "Microsoft Treasure Hunt" and is available at the Windows Store. Microsoft Treasure Hunt game. The game is 47 MB and is said to be based in part on the Minesweeper game. However, it is an adventure game with only a little resemblance to the old Minesweeper. I tried it on Windows 8.1 Update, 64-bit. If you liked Minesweeper, you will enjoy this modern version. Here is Microsoft's description: "Microsoft Treasure Hunt builds on Microsoft Minesweeper for Windows 8's Adventure mode experience. Mark suspicious terrain and plan your moves carefully to uncover tools, weapons, and even hidden bonus levels filled with loot. Using the gold you collect, purchase supplies and permanent upgrades for your journey deep underground."
