It's probably a bold statement to say this is the best calendar widget for Android 4.1 and above but it ticks all the boxes. It's free, attractive, shows you what you need to know and is simple to use, so what are you waiting for?

UpNext, though still in development, is a good example of what can be done with a class of widget which, in general, is hard to get excited about. Your calendar entries are displayed in a tidy informative manner. It displays all of your calendars, a pleasant change over other offerings by the competition that only allows you to display one or two in their free versions. This should suit most people. Try it, you'll like it.
