The 2009 hit game Plants vs Zombies is simply one of my favorites and you get it for free until 29th May for Windows and Mac OSX.

Plants vs Zombies is a tower defense game and highly addictive in nature. It has won nearly 30 Game of the Year awards including Casual Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Game Design. Moreover it's also available to play on nearly every platform you can think of.

Plants vs Zombies is for people of all ages, and the fun simply never dies.
